Description:

In Matthew 21:28–32, Jesus teaches that God values genuine obedience over empty promises and religious appearances. Like the two sons in the parable, our faith is demonstrated not by what we say, but by what we actually do. Even when we have responded to God with rebellion or resistance, true repentance gives us the opportunity to change direction and walk in obedience.

The sermon reminds us that a messy past does not disqualify us when it leads to a repentant and obedient present. Ultimately, God is not looking for perfect words or a flawless record, but for hearts that are willing to follow Him with their lives.
