Description:

In John 15:16, Jesus reminds us that we are chosen by Him, not because of our worthiness or perfection, but because of His grace and purpose for our lives. We are appointed to go and produce lasting fruit through both Christlike character and serving others, rather than simply living comfortable or outwardly perfect lives. The sermon challenges us to pursue “real fruit” that impacts others and continues beyond our own lives, instead of temporary success, recognition, or comfort.

We are also equipped with God’s authority and resources when we pray and live according to His purposes, because God provides what we need for the assignments He gives us. Ultimately, we are chosen by His grace, appointed for His glory, and sustained by Christ’s sacrifice so that we can go into our homes, workplaces, and communities and bear fruit that lasts.
