STAYING STRONG START TO FINISH
Description:
In this week's sermon, we look at King Asa’s journey and how a strong beginning in faith can slowly turn into dependence on our own strength. Asa once trusted God completely in the face of overwhelming circumstances, but over time, comfort and success led him to rely on his own resources and strategies instead. His story reminds us that spiritual complacency can develop gradually when we stop seeking God in our everyday lives.
Romans 3:19–20 points us back to the truth that human effort can never earn or sustain our relationship with God. To finish strong, we must remain just as dependent on God’s grace, prayer, and strength as we were when we first began our journey of faith.
